Vetri-Disc is used for long term (three weeks to three months for initial) treatment due to the presence of glycosaminoglycans which takes some time to build up and work effectively. The dosage of Vetri-Disc depends on the weight of your pet. Generally

For dogs weighing less than 15lbs – 1 daily tablet is sufficient.
For dogs weighing 16-35lbs – 2 capsules daily.
For dogs weighing 36-830lbs – 3 capsules daily.
For dogs weighing over 80lbs – 4 capsules daily.

It is advised to divide the dosage between AM and PM in case you need to give more than one capsule per day.

Side Effects/ Precautions

It is advised to start the dosage with lower amounts than recommended and then gradually increase it with time. Do administer the response of the pet to the product as different pets may show different responses at different time.
